Medieval Castle in Apulia
A precious bare stone castle built by one of the most famous Holy Roman Emperors of all times on a green hill.
A huge gem made of bare stone that watches over the inhabitants of Oria from a hill halfway between Brindisi and Taranto, this castle is a magnificent building constructed between 1225 and 1233 by Frederick II Hohenstaufen.
Over the centuries, it has been the residence of princes, knights and nobles.
Nowadays, it has been restored to its splendor and it is ready for hosting incredible events.
With its 166 meters above sea level, the castle overlooks an incredible scenario: in addition to that, the fortifications, bastions and walkways, as well as the ancient frescoed halls, the parade ground and the park, are just few of the many areas suitable to host banquets and exclusive ceremonies in this wondrous castle.
